CEC Kargil extends gratitude to Chief Justice of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh
Kargil, July 28, 2024: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil has extended sincere gratitude and thanks to Chief Justice of Hon’ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for accepting a case related to the fragile ecosystem affecting flora, fauna and biodiversity. 
The Hon’ble High Court has directed the registry to prepare a memo of parties and issue notices to the respondents for their response.
Moreover, the matter is scheduled for hearing on August 28, 2024. The primary objective of this boundary demarcation is to protect future land use and resources and to enable systematic traffic management between the two Union Territories.
