CEC, Leh reviews the preparation for the celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Leh, 06 August: The Chairman/ Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC, Leh Advocate Tashi Gyalson today held meeting to review the preparation for the celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga programme as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 13th to 15th August.

Executive Councilor for Rural development Tashi Namgyal, Executive Councilor for Minority Ghulam Mehdi, DC/CEO LAHDC Shrikant Balasheb Suse, Sonam Norbu Additional District Development Commissioner Leh, All SDMs and other concerned district officers attended the meeting.

While enquiring about the preparation for Har Ghar Tiranga, CEC instruct all the concern Department and SDMs to ensure the delivery of Flags to every household through PRI well in time. He also instructed SDMs to celebrate Har Ghar Tiranga at all the Iconic places/tourist destinations like Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Pangong Lake, Zero Border villages, monasteries, schools etc.

DC Leh informed that flags are being dispatched to all blocks and all villages through PRI and informed that different event is planned for celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga.
It was also decided to Hoist national Flag at Historic Leh Palace and town area in synchronized way.

CEC further instructed the SDMs to sensitize the public about the campaign and make the celebration a grand one.
