Councilor Town attends inaugural ceremony of Masjid Imam Al Asr Changchik
Kargil, Dec 25, 2022: Councillor Town, LAHDC, Kargil Haji Mohd Abass today attended the inaugural ceremony of Masjid Imam Al Asr Chanchik, Kargil which was followed by Khatme Quraan.
During the ceremony, President Municipal Committee Kargil, Zaheer Hussain Babar, Imam e Jamaat Shiekh Amini, Mirwaiz Syed Jaffar Shah people of adjacent villages, besides citizens of Kargil town were present.
The Councilor Town extended his gratitude and congratulated citizens. He said that the significance of this project extends far beyond the physical restoration of the architectural structure of the mosque.
He also assured all possible help to make the mosque more beautiful. He thanked the committee member for inviting him for such an auspicious occasion.
Zaheer Hussain Babar, thanked all the donors for the financial support to build the mosque.
Syed Jaffar Shah in his address also congratulated people and said that it is the responsibility of all Muslims to contribute and to encourage the effort of the fellow citizens.
Dr Ismail Mir, Imam Jammaat Shiekh Amini beside others also spoke on the occasion.
