DC Changthang Reviews Development Works in Rong and Rupsho Blocks

Changthang, October 26, 2026: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Changthang, Nitish Rajora reviewed the physical and financial progress of development works being executed under the Special Service Plan (SSP), State/District Sector Plan (SDP), District CAPEX and MPLADS in Rong and Rupsho blocks.

During the review, the DC directed the concerned officers to expedite pending works, ensure quality execution and complete all projects within the stipulated timelines. He also emphasised the proper and judicious utilisation of funds to ensure effective implementation of development initiatives and timely delivery of benefits to the public.

The concerned departments were directed to closely monitor the progress of works and address bottlenecks, if any, to ensure efficient execution of development projects.
