DC Kargil/Chairman KSSRB chairs preparatory orientation training at Conference Hall

Kargil, May 12, 2023: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, who is also the Chairman, Kargil Sub-Ordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB), today chaired a preparatory orientation training at Conference Hall, Baroo for smooth conduct of graduate level, LAHDC, KSSRB, examination with all the deployed Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and all concerned officers.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-ud-In Wani, Joint Director, Information, Ladakh, (Observer), Imteeaz Kacho, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (Observer), A.G Zargar, ACD Kargil (Observer), Ghulam Mohd, Chief Controller of Examination/District Treasury Officer, Iftikhar Hussain Chief Education Officer, Mushtaq Ahmad, deployed Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and other concerned officers were present.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that adequate arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the KSSRB examination scheduled on May 14.

He said mobile phones are strictly not allowed inside the exam centres for candidates, invigilators and all the other concerned officers/officials. DC Kargil also instructed the concerned that no candidate would be allowed to enter the examination center without admit card, valid ID proof and after proper checking.

DC Santosh advised the candidates to report to the examination centers by 9:00 a.m. and no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after the commencement of the examination. The DC said that examination centers are under CCTV surveillance and no candidate should adopt any unfair means.

Any candidate found guilty of misbehavior, coping/conversing/lobbying in any form shall be debarred permanently or for a specific period from appearing in the examinations of LAHDC- KSSRB and shall be liable for prosecution as warranted under law.

The DC Kargil underlined the importance and magnitude of the examination and directed the concerned to understand their role and responsibilities so that the entire process of examination is conducted by maintaining transparency and accountability.

Earlier, Chief Controller of Examination/District Treasury Officer, Iftikhar Hussain briefed about the role, responsibilities, assignments and standard procedures and informed that some 37 examination centres have been set up across the district.

He said that use of pencil and ink pen is strictly prohibited and candidates aren’t allowed to carry personal belongings like electronic devices, mobile phones and other banned items to the examination center.

ADC Kargil while briefing about the process of examination, directed the concerned to strictly follow the time as per the standard procedure. He also directed to avoid any kind of gathering and maintain indiscipline in the respective examination centres.

The concerned departments were instructed to ensure the proper planning of frisking and deployment of police.

Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents were directed to ensure the timely distribution of question papers before the commencement of exam, distribution of OMR sheet in sequences and filling of OMR sheets.

The concerned superintendents were also advised to display the list of roll numbers at examination centres a day before the examination and directed to ensure fair and transparent examination.
