DC Kargil disburses financial assistance to 4873 registered active construction workers during COVID-19 lockdown period
KARGIL MAY 25, 2021
Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today disbursed financial assistance of Rs 48 lakhs and 73 thousand in favor of 4873 registered active construction workers under the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers (JKBOCW) Act.
The financial assistance has been disbursed @ Rs 1000/- per registered active construction worker through the DBT mode.
Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kargil Raziya Khatoon, officials from the Labour Department and several beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
