DC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve reviews prepartion for celebration of 7th Ladakh Rpal Ngam Tuston

 

Leh, July 31: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve convened a meeting to review the preparations regarding the celebration of ‘Ladakh Rpal Ngam Tuston’ today at DC Conference Hall.

 

DC Leh informed that this year’s celebration will be a grandeur one as it will focus on the progress of Ladakh post becoming a UT and it will gather crowd on a large scale. He further directed the concerned officials to complete all the preparations keeping that in mind .

 

While assigning the tasks to the concerned departmental officers, DC Leh directed the officers to play their roles and responsibilities to their best capabilities as per the past practices, so that the participants will not face any problems.

 

Further, he also directed the concerned officers to ensure that proper arrangements regarding decorations, sanitation, lighting, and other required facilities at the venues are placed well in time for successful and smooth conduct of the event.

 

Additionally, he exhorted upon the concerned departments to ensure parking regulation, seating arrangements with seating enclosures and barricades.

 

Earlier, ADC Leh, Sonam Chosjor apprised DC about the two venues including Leh Palace and NDS stadium where the clebrations will take place. He also apprised the DC about the tasks assigned to concerned officials.

 

Furthermore, he directed the committee incharges to have a meeting with the members for proper execution of the arrangements needed to be done.

 

The meeting was also attended by ADDC; CPO; ACR; CMO; CHO; CAHO; ARC; DSWO; Deputy Director, District Motor Garages; Assistant Labour Commissioner; AD, FCS&CA; AD, DIPR; AD, Tourism; EO, MC Leh; Accounts Officer, Deputy Director, NYK; and officers from department of Police, Education, Construction, Road, and Building (R&B), Public Health Engineering (PHE); Power Development Department (PDD) and others.
