DC Leh Santosh Sukhdeve conducts introductory meeting with district officers

Leh, July 15: After assuming the charge of Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Leh, Santosh Sukhdeve conducted an introductory meeting with district officers of various departments at DC Conference Hall today.

ADC, Leh, Sonam Chosjor accorded a warm welcome to the DC on behalf of all the officials present there.

During his interaction with the district officers, DC Leh directed them to expedite development work in Leh district. He also informed that health and education along with various government flagship programmes and schemes as well as saturation of the schemes will be on the priority focus.

Further, he emphasised on delay free, efficient and responsive Administration working for the welfare of people of the district.

Additionally, he requested the district officials to provide him with the same cooperation as his predecessors to complete development work in Leh district successfully.

DC Leh also informed that he would conduct separate department-wise meetings with the district officers to review the performance of all the sectors.

Earlier, district officials from various departments such as Public Works Department (PWD), Power Development (PDD), Health, Forest, Treasury, Education, Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Transport, Agriculture, Sports, Excise and Finance, Food and Civil Supplies, Cooperative, Pollution Control Board, Social Welfare, Revenue, Fisheries, Tourism, Labour, Employment, Information Department and others shared major achievements of the respective departments and progress of various state and centrally sponsored schemes in the district.
