DC Santosh visits Stongday, Kumik Thang villages to assess JJM works

KARGIL, AUGUST 11, 2022:

Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve on his exclusive tour to Zanskar sub division Wednesday visited Stongday and Kumik Thang villages in order to assess works under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).

Executive Engineer R&B Kacho Mumtaz Ali Khan briefed the DC Kargil about the various projects ongoing in the subdivision pertaining to the JJM.

DC Santosh was informed that majority of FHTCs in the mentioned villages are near completion and soon drinking water will be available to the households.

The Deputy Commissioner directed to complete the remaining works at the earliest and also ensure quality works.

DC Santosh also asserted the JJM is a vital scheme of the Government of India and far-off places of Zanskar should get benefited from it.
