Director RDD Ladakh chairs meeting to review and discuss various schemes
Leh,27 August: Director Rural Development Department Tahir Hussain chaired a meeting to review the Block wise progress and discussion of various schemes under Rural Development at Moonland Hotel.
Assistant Commissioner Development gave a brief about the block wise progress of ongoing developmental works of various schemes of RDD sector and the work plan under different schemes.
Director took an extensive review of the progress on Action Plan under Grants in Aids 2022-23.
He also assessed the status of BDC work plan to be taken up with the line departments also assessed the status of convergence plan to be taken up with the line departments and implementation of MGNREGA in all blocks.
He directed the BDOs adhere to set timelines set for each work by meticulously utilizing the working season.
The Director directed the concerned authorities to resolve the pendency of issues and remove bottlenecks, if any, on priority so that execution of works shall not be delayed.
Executive Engineer REW, Leh; District Panchayat Officer, Leh; Assistant Director Planning and Block Development Officers attended the meeting.
