Director Tourism Ladakh, Kunzes Angmo reviews progress of developmental works under different schemes in Kargil

Kargil, July 06, 2023: Director, Tourism, Ladakh, Kunzes Angmo today convened a meeting of Tourism Officers at Kargil to review the physical/financial progress of different developmental project works under different schemes in the district and to discuss other issues.

The director had elaborate discussions on the status of each ongoing and new schemes in hand with Tourism Department and Tourism Development Authority, Kargil at different places of the district.

The concerned officers especially, Executive Engineer, TDA Kargil was instructed to accelerate and expedite different works to complete the same within the targeted time.

The Director Tourism also stressed to ensure payment of maximum genuine work done claims by the end of July 2023.

The Director Tourism also directed to ensure that standard quality material is used in the construction of buildings and other assets and there should be no compromise with quality of work.

The officers were also directed to ensure timely implementation/completion and timely payment of genuine claims and also to be strict to approvals granted by competent authorities. The Director also reviewed the financial status under the revenue component for the current financial year 2023-24.
