District Administration, Kargil police express condolence & sympathy with families of deceased

 

Kargil, August 18, 2023: District Administration and Kargil Police has expressed heartfelt condolence & sympathy with the families of the deceased who lost their lives today in blast at scrap shop in Drass.

 

DC Kargil, SSP Kargil visited District Hospital Kargil Kurbathang to inquire about the condition of injured ones. DC instructed CMO Kargil to provide the best possible healthcare facilities to the injured ones. Further interim relief under Redcross funds is being provided to families of deceased.

 

On receiving information about incident, ADC Kargil and Deputy SP HQ visited Drass to supervise shifting of injured to DH Kargil in the evening.

 

FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police station Drass and further investigation is in progress.
