District Level Sports meet concludes at KVK Kargil
Kargil, Feb 27, 2023: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Kargil, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India in collaboration with Social and Educational Welfare Society Latoo organized a three-day district-level sports meet on February 25, 26, and 27.
The main objective of organizing such events is to motivate the youth towards games and sports so that they don’t indulge in any anti-social activities.
On the conclusion day, Acting CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Mubarak Shah Naqvi was chief guest and Councilor Tai Suru, Sayed Abas Rizvi was the guest of honour, Councilor Chuliskambo Altaf Hussain and ZEPO Tai Suru Issaq were guests on the occasion.
The Acting CEC appreciated the NYK Kargil and Social and Educational Welfare Society Latoo for organizing such a program that provides a platform for youth to express their talent. Earlier, the program was inaugurated with welcome speech presented by District Youth Officer NYK Kargil.
Youth from various parts of Kargil district participated in the sports event with the enthusiasm. Baroo Tsoq and Horker Poyen were the winners of under-10 and Under 4 category players.
