Drass, December 23, 2025:
The District Police Ladakh successfully organised an educational exposure tour to Gujarat for students of Government Degree College (GDC) Drass and other colleges of Ladakh. The initiative aims to broaden students’ academic, social, and cultural horizons by offering them firsthand learning experiences outside the region.
A total of five students from GDC Drass, along with students from other district colleges, participated in the tour. The programme provides exposure to premier educational institutions, cultural heritage sites, historical landmarks, and key administrative establishments in various parts of the country.
During the visit, students will explore several educational, cultural, and developmental sites across Gujarat. The tour is designed to help participants interact with peers, learn best practices, understand national integration, and develop discipline, leadership, and civic responsibility.
This initiative reflects the commitment of District Police Ladakh towards youth empowerment, capacity building, and constructive police-student engagement. Such programmes play a crucial role in nurturing responsible citizens and motivating youth to contribute positively to society.
The participating students expressed gratitude to District Police Ladakh for offering them this valuable learning opportunity. They acknowledged that the exposure tour has significantly boosted their confidence, awareness, and perspective.
