EC Aga Syed Mehdi Fazili visits Sankoo, Thasgam
KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 12, 2022: Executive Councilor Horticulture, Social Welfare, Handloom, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, LAHDC, Kargil Aga Syed Mehdi Fazili today visited Sankoo and Thasgam.
The EC was accompanied by Councilor Sankoo Syed Ahmad Razvi, officers and officials of Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Handloom, Nambardar and PRI members.
He visited Grong Khalamarpo where the residents demanded reopening of Handloom Centre and establishment of Tailoring Centre.
The EC also visited Handloom Centre Sankoo to review the functioning of the Handloom Department. He interacted with the employees of the Handloom Department and inquired from them about the staff strength in the sub-division.
He gave a patient hearing to the demands of staff like lack of electricity, installation of submersible pump, requirement of tailoring section and showroom. EC Fazili also visited knitting, weaving and spinning section and interacted with the trainees. It was informed that there are 55 trainees.
The EC also visited Livestock Development Centre Thasgam along with officers/officials of Sheep and Animal Husbandry Department. He also gave a patient hearing to the demand of staff like lack of electricity and drinking water facilities.
The residents of Thasgam, Sankoo demanded establishment of Handloom Centre and issue breading bull etc. He assured to take up the matter with concerned authorities.
