EC Tashi inaugurates newly constructed office building of Contractor Association Zanskar

 

Kargil, July 20, 2023: Executive Councilor, Tourism, RD and Zanskar Affairs, LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Phunchok Tashi today inaugurated the newly constructed office building of Contractor Association Zanskar at Pibiting Zanskar.

 

Councilor Karsha, Stanzin Jigmath, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, SHO Zanskar, Dorgay Gyaltsan, Exen PHE, Kacho Mumtaz Ali, BDO Zanskar, Tsewang Rigzen, AEEs, JEs and staffs of PWD and RD Department Zanskar and all the contractors of Zanskar were present during the inauguration function.

 

During the inauguration function, the EC appreciated the Exen Kacho Mumtaz Ali for providing land for the office building of Contractor Association.

 

EC Tashi also appreciated and congratulated all contractors of Zanskar for the new office building and stressed maintain and use it just like their own houses.

 

Earlier, executive member of Contractor Association, Stanzin Lakden welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries.

 

He on behalf of the association expressed gratitude to the EC and the Councilor for their financial support. He also thanked Exen PHE for providing land for the office building.

 

While addressing the occasion, the Councilor congratulated all the contractors of Zanskar for the new office building.

 

SDM Zanskar also spoke during the occasion and appreciated the support given by Contractor Association Zanskar during the Covid-19 to administration and hoped to get the same support in the future also.
