EC Tashi reviews compensation of land, trees of Kargil-Zanskar NH
Kargil, March 31, 2023: Executive Councilor, RD, Tourism and Zanskar Affairs, LAHDC, Kargil Er. Punchok Tashi today chaired a meeting to review the compensation status of land and trees in phase 7th and 8th of Kargil-Zanskar, National Highway 301.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul Gaffar Zargar, General Manager, NHIDCL, Col Shiv Kumar, Consultant Land Acquisition, Mohd Yousuf Bhat beside other concerned attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the EC was informed that Rs 74 cr have been approved and released in phase 7th and 8th which is under process and land acquisition plan is under preparation.
The concerned also informed the EC about compensation award, land acquisition plan of NHIDCL and land compensation statement of Abran, Hemling, Padum, Phey, Ramala Skygam, Rantaksha, Saini, Salapi Gyapak, Tungri and Ufti Pipiting.
The EC appreciated the efforts of the Revenue Department Kargil and the officers of the NHIDCL in the preparation of detailed apportionment of 3G award package (7&8).
He said the dedication shown by the officers is remarkable. EC Tashi urged them to continue with the same commitment for the betterment of society.
