Education department Kargil organizes science seminar

Kargil, September 20, 2022:

SAMAGRA SHIKSHA Education Department today organized a district-level science seminar titled ‘Basic Science for Sustainable Development Challenges and Prospects’ for the students of 8th to 10th here at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.

Chief Education Officer Kargil, Mushtaq Ahmad was the chief guest while OSD to Director School Education Ladakh, Gulzar Danish was the guest of honor.

Assistant Professor (AP) GDC Kargil, Rinchen Angmo, AP GDC Drass Imtiyaz Hussain and AP GDC, Sankoo Nasir-Ud-in Khafi were among the jury members.

Students of classes 8th to 10th from different government and private schools across the district participated in the seminar. All the participants delivered their topics through presentation, followed by question and answer session by jury members.

A motivational educational song was presented by students of HS Goma Kargil, HS Baroo, HS Minji and GMS Poyen, prepared by the cultural group of the Education Department.

HSS Pashkum, HS Minjee, HSS Chiktan bagged first, second and third positions respectively. Cash prize, momentos and certificates were distributed by the guests. The program proceedings were conducted by Marzia Banoo, Teacher GHSS Kargil.
