Entrance Examination Results Declared for Admission to Kargil Hostels at Jammu and Srinagar

Kargil, December 13, 2025:

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC Kargil, has declared the marks of the entrance examination conducted for admission to Kargil Hostels at Jammu and Srinagar.

According to the official notice, online applications for hostel accommodation in various Kargil hostels located at Jammu, Srinagar, and Kargil were earlier invited vide Notification dated 29 September 2025. Subsequently, the OMR-based written examination was conducted on 16 November 2025 (Sunday) at examination centres in Jammu, Srinagar, and Kargil.

Out of a total of 415 registered candidates, 319 candidates appeared in the examination. The evaluation of OMR answer sheets has now been completed, and the marks obtained by candidates have been officially declared. The results have been categorized and annexed as follows:

Annexure “A” – 10th Level Annexure “B” – 12th Level Annexure “C” – Graduation Level

The notice further states that candidates will be shortlisted for admission category-wise, depending on the availability of seats. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in due course.

Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official website of District Kargil (kargil.nic.in) for updates regarding the shortlisting process and document verification schedule.

The notice has been issued with the approval of the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, who is also the Chairman of LAHDC-KSSRB. The notification has been signed by Jahangir Akhoon, JKAS, ACR Kargil.

This announcement marks an important step towards the admission process for Kargil hostel facilities, ensuring transparency and timely information for all applicants.
