The All Kargil (Ladakh) Students’ Association Delhi (AKSAD) successfully concluded its annual event-cum-seminar titled “Fatima Is Fatima 2025” on December 13 at the Ghalib Institute, ITO, New Delhi. The programme was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Zahra (S.A.), daughter of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Held under the theme “Women: The Pillar for Social Upliftment,” the seminar focused on the moral, social, and spiritual legacy of Lady Fatima Zahra (S.A.) and examined her relevance in contemporary discussions on women’s dignity, empowerment, and societal responsibility.

The event commenced with a soulful recitation from the Holy Qur’an by students of Madrassa-e-Qurani (Ava Academy), followed by a welcome address delivered by Sakina Banoo, Joint Secretary, AKSAD. He also stressed the importance of maintaining a strong connection with God, beyond gender distinctions.

The Guest of Honour, Agha Sultan, Chairman of the Central Relief Committee, Government of Karnataka, urged the youth to initiate a movement against prevailing social evils, particularly the dowry system.
