FCS&CA Dept Leh conducts surprise market inspection
Leh, Dec 22: The Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department, Leh conducted a surprise market inspection at all the vegetable shops and general stores around Leh, Skara, Skalzangling and Choglamsar, in view of the complaints about the exorbitant rates charged by the sellers.
The market checking squads inspected the rates, hygiene, documents and the quality of the vegetables and food items along with expiry dates.
The inspection teams imposed a fine of Rs 13900 on the defaulters during the inspections from December 21-23.
