Finance Department organizes one day training program on LIFMS portal in Kargil

Kargil, August 05, 2023: Finance Department, Ladakh, in collaboration with the District Administration Kargil today organized a one day training program for all Sectorial Heads/DDOs of District Kargil, on Budget Estimation Module under the Ladakh Integrated Financial Management System (LIFMS) Application, at Sayed Mehdi Memorial Auditorium Hall Kargil.

Accounts Officer to Deputy Commissioner Mohd Shamim Wazir welcomed the Trainers and the participants. The Pay and Accounts Officer/DTO Kargil, Iftikhar Hussain presented traditional khatak to the trainer Tsewang Dorje, Accounts Officer/Nodal Officer LIFMS.

The training program was organized on the directions of Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Srikant Balasaheb Suse, to make the DDOs familiar with the newly introduced feature namely ‘Budget Estimation’ on LIFMS as well as to address various issued faced by the DDOs while operating upon LIFMS.

DDOs from all departments participated in the one-day programme along with their dealing assistants. Detailed training was imparted on the ‘Budget Estimation’ and related features.

A question and Answer session was also held at the end of the programme. Trainees had the opportunity to pose questions, and the resource persons addressed their queries to everyone’s satisfaction.

The programme ended with words of gratitude from the trainers for the facilities provided and cooperation extended by the District Administration for successfully organizing the training programme, followed by vote of thanks from the organisers.
