The programme aims to orient teachers with newly developed Bhoti textbooks for Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Classes I & II, while strengthening pedagogical practices at the foundational level in line with the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The Bhoti Resource Persons — Venerable Stanzin Norbu, Dr. Lotos Rabgais, and Mr. Tundup Namgail — were formally welcomed with khataks (traditional ceremonial scarves) by Mrs. Yangdol, Training Nodal Officer, DIET Leh, and Ms. Sonam Lamo, Head of Department, DIET Leh.

The programme is being attended by 91 teachers representing three educational zones — Nubra Zone, Durbuk Zone, and Noma Zone. It aims to ensure effective classroom implementation of the newly framed Bhoti textbooks and promote mother tongue-based education in government schools across UT Ladakh.
