GHSS Pashkum celebrates World Environment Day
Kargil, June 05: Govt. Higher Secondary School Pashkum today celebrated the World Environment Day-2024.
This year’s theme, “Ecosystem Restoration,” aligns perfectly with our commitment to fostering environmental awareness and action within the community. 
The event featured a series of activities aimed at educating students and the local community about the importance of preserving the natural surroundings. 
A community clean-up drive was organized to remove litter from local parks and public spaces, encouraging community members to take an active role in maintaining a clean environment. 
A skit was presented by students to send a message among general masses regarding the importance of environment. 
The programme was attended by SMDC members, villagers of Pashkum etc.
Principal of GHSS Pashkum, Ishey Namgail emphasized the significance of such events and said it is a crucial responsibility of all to protect environment.
