GHSS Pashkum hosts twinning of Schools

Kargil, 08 August : In a move to make different government High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools to share teaching and learning experiences, an initiative of wining of schools initiative under the direction of Chief Education Officer Kargil was held at Govt. Higher Secondary School Pushkum.

The programme was aimed to create learning hubs that create learning resources and share various pedagogical methods and proved to be a successful one.

Students visited the smart classroom where the visiting students & teachers were given a demonstration of using a smart board in a classroom.

Afterwards, students were served refreshments. Then, the visiting students visited the Astronomy Lab, Chemistry Lab, Physics Lab, Biology Lab and Library of teh school.

Lunch was also served to all the students & teacher which was followed by a games session. A friendly Volleyball game was played High School Lotsum & HSS Pashkum, while girl students of all three schools competed against each other in a Kho Kho match. Separate games were also organised between teachers of teh visiting schools and the host school.

The program concluded with an experience sharing session. All teachers expressed their satisfaction overall proceedings of the day.
