GMDC Zanskar organizes campus beautification initiative
Kargil, July 12, 2023: Eco-Club, Government Model Degree College (GMDC), Zanskar today organized a beautification initiative as part of campus beautification.
The event was aimed to foster the college’s beautification and to inculcate roles and responsibilities in the planning and conduct of campus beautification among students.
Students as well as faculty members of the college participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. During the event, unwanted writings and materials from walls were removed, garbage was collected, the lawn in front of the college canteen was maintained and trees and flower saplings were planted to create a clean and attractive learning environment.
Furthermore, the college administration acknowledged and appreciated Nawang Phonchok, Library Assistant for providing tree and flower saplings. Students also contributed and brought flower saplings.
