‘Good Governance Week’:100 quintals of cattle feed distributed among drought-affected villages of Zanskar
Kargil, Dec 21, 2022:
In connection with the celebration of ‘Good Governance Week’ being observed across Kargil district under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), under the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur”, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, Zanskar today distributed 100 quintals of cattle feed among drought-affected villages of Zanskar subdivision.
The feed for cattle was distributed at villages like Itcher,Tangzay, Yal, Marling, Cha, Anmo, Hamiling, Skyagam, Remala, Techa, Khasar,Pishu and Kumik.
The feed was distributed in presence of a committee constituted by higher authorities and headed by Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay.
The beneficiaries appreciated the Sub Divisional and District Administration Kargil for providing the cattle feed.
The departments appealed the general public to register their domestic animals with the concerned department so that the vaccination for cattle is provided at their doorsteps.
