ICDS Project Kargil celebrates Intl. Women’s Day at Tumail Colony, TV Station
Kargil, March 06, 2023: ICDS Project Kargil today celebrated International Women’s Day at Tumail Colony, TV Station Kargil.
The program started with welcome speech by Supervisor Sadiq Ali. Ummul Banin and Khadim Hussain were present as special guests.
Supervisor Begum and Zahara Banoo briefed about the services being provided by the ICDS.
Sadiq Ali Supervisor ICDS Project Kargil briefed about the importance of International Women’s Day and talked about the schemes related to women.
Ummul Banin Administrator of One Stop Centre Kargil briefed about the problems being faced by women in society.
They also briefed about the importance of girls education and gender equality. They also informed the participants about women shelter and services of the One Stop Centre.
Khadim Hussain resource person of Special Cell for Women briefed about the facilities being provided by the cell for women in the district.
