Shargole, December 26, 2025: The ICDS Project Shargole commemorated Veer Bal Diwas with great enthusiasm at the CDPO Office in Shargole, following the directives of the Director, Social & Tribal Welfare Department, Ladakh. The event was organized under the supervision of CDPO Shargole, Farida Banoo, supported by Supervisor Punchok Dolma, senior and junior assistants, the Block Coordinator, and all Anganwadi Workers of the project.
The celebration witnessed active participation from local parents and children, who enthusiastically joined to honour the spirit of the day. In her address, CDPO Shargole highlighted the historical importance of Veer Bal Diwas, emphasizing its role in remembering the courage and supreme sacrifice of young heroes in India’s history. She stressed that the day serves as an inspiration for the younger generation to uphold values of bravery, resilience, patriotism, and national pride.
To make the occasion more memorable, gifts and rewards were distributed among the children, encouraging them to participate actively and instilling in them a sense of pride in their cultural and national heritage.
