Jan Aushadhi Jan Arogya Mela Organised by Health Department, District Hospital Kargil.
In continuation to the celebration of Jan Aushadhi Diwas from 1st to 7th March, a Medical camp under Jan Arogya Mela was held by Department of Health Kargil near main market Kargil.
Free Blood sugar check up, Blood pressure check up and medical consultation were provided by doctors. Very low cost and high quality medicines was made available from Jan Aushadhi Kendra District Hospital Kargil.
District Nodal Officer Ayushman Bharat Dr Oliyath Ali stressed upon the mass to regularly keep checking their blood pressure and sugar so as to enable timely detection and treatment. He also asked people to purchase best quality but very low cost medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Citing an example he said that a 10 tab strip of Pantoprazole which cost more than 95 Rs in Market is available for 12.50 Rs of same quality at Janaushadi Kendra Kargil
