NCD Cell, NHM Ladakh organizes the “Cycling Event” Cycle for Health.
On the occasion of World Women’s Day (March), a Cycling Event was organized by NCD Cell Leh Under the National Program for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke (NPCDCS) on 05 March 2023 at SNM Hospital Leh.
Students of Moravian Mission School and Islamia Public School took part in the Cycle really. The rally was flagged off by Dr Motup Dorje, Director Health Services.
Dr Nurzin Angmo CMO Leh, Dr Diskit Dolma DTO, Dr Dolma Chuskolit DIO, Dr Skarma Punchok DHO/ Dist Nodal Officer NCD, Doctors of SNM Hospital, Staff of District NCD cell Leh, Presidents of LBA Women Wing, Anjuman Moin ul Islam, Anjuman Imamia and Vice President Women Alliance Leh we’re present on the occasion.
The aim of organizing the cycling event is
to promote physical and mental well-being and environment-friendly conveyance.
The theme of the event is ‘Healthy Women Healthy India’.
The rally started from SNM Hospital Leh to ITBP Gate Choglamsar via Singay Namgyal Chowk and Concluded at SNM Hospital Leh.
