Ladakh Education Fair concludes at GDC Kargil
Kargil, August 25, 2023: Chief Controller of Finance, LAHDC Kargil/District Treasury Officer Iftikhar Hussain today chaired the concluding ceremony of the 2-day Ladakh Education Fair 2023 at GDC Kargil.
The theme of this year’s event was “empowering minds enriching futures.” On the occasion, the dignitaries inspected the stalls displaying awareness on scholarship schemes, career guidance, skill development, apprentice programmes, ethnic food stalls, etc.
Chief Controller of Finance/District Treasury Officer Iftikhar Hussain was the chief guest and Senior DGM Power Grid Corporation of India, Syed Shamim was guest of honour and attended the valedictory session of the LEF.
While speaking on the occasion, Iftikhar Hussain said that the fair will provide exposure and guidance to the students towards scholarship schemes, career guidance, skill development etc. He advised the students to take advantage of it.
He said that the best part of the LEF is that the students from schools are also participating in the event which will be beneficial for them in the long run.
Speaking at the valedictory session, Syed Shamim appreciated the Principal and administration of the college for organizing such a mega event. He said it is good initiative to provide exposure to the young generation and will be beneficial for them.
In her closing remarks, Dr.Amina Qari, Principal GDC Kargil thanked all the dignitaries, sponsors and other participants for their participation in the fair at the GDC Kargil. A newsletter of the 2-day event was also released by the guests at the valedictory session.
