Ladakh Food Festival organised at Ladakh Bhawan, New Delhi
New Delhi, 20 August: Office of the Resident Commissioner, UT of Ladakh, in association with the Ministry of Tourism, GoI, organised a ‘Ladakh Food Festival’ at Ladakh Bhawan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi from 18th to 20th August.
Organised under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative of the Government of India, various Ladakhi delicacies were served during the festival, which were enjoyed by the visitors.
On the first day and the concluding day, i.e today, ” The Shepherdess of the Glaciers” a film by Stanzin Gya was screened, especially for students visiting the festival.
The concluding day of the festival saw a special talk by Siddharth Behl, National Geographic explorer, which was attended by a large number of students.
Deputy Resident Commissioner Sumera Shafi extended her gratitude to the organisers and participants.
