LAHDC-KSSRB conducts OMR-Based examination for teacher posts

Kargil, Feb 18, 2024: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today inspected examination centre established for smooth conduct of OMR-Based teacher posts at GDC Kargil, conducted by Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB), LAHDC, Kargil.

During the inspection, DC Shrikant, who is also Chairman of the LAHDC-KSSRB, inspected the arrangements at the examination center at GDC, Kargil.

The District Administration Kargil had made all the required arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination. The examination which started at 11 a.m. was conducted successfully and standard procedures were followed. It was informed that a senior officer was deployed as Examination Observer besides adequate security personnel were deployed in and around the venue for smooth conduct of the written examination. To ensure fairness of the process, the Question Booklets were provided in four sets with different sequence of questions and Carbon Copy of the marked OMR was available for the candidates for self evaluation. The overall written examination and it’s associated procedures were conducted under the CCTV Surveillance.

Deputy Director Employment/Secretary, LAHDC-KSSRB, Dr. Khanzada Mohd Usman informed that out of 128 candidates, 126 appeared in the examination against 23 vacancies.

The candidates expressed satisfaction on the arrangements and transparency measures that were put on place and thanked the authorities for their efforts.

Meanwhile, the LAHDC-KSSRB has notified the answer key for the teacher examination and advised the candidates, to file their objections or queries, if any, in Office of the Deputy Director, Employment and Counseling Centre Kargil upto 20 February 2024 12 noon after which no objections or queries will be entertained. The answer key is available on the Official Website of the LAHDC-KSSRB i.e., www.dssrbkargil.in.
