Newly constructed fabricated structure inaugurated at Yokma Rgyalkhang
Kargil, July 11, 2023: The Child Development Project Officer, Shargole, Farida Banoo invited Councilor Shargole Ali Chandan, BDC Wakha, Sarpanch Wakha Tsering Stanzin and Headmaster Govt. High School Wakha, Skarma Junlay for the inauguration of the newly constructed Fabricated Structure (Porta Cabin) at Yokma Rgyalkhang.
The staff of ICDS, Project Shargole, children, Anganwadi Workers, Helpers and the general public were present at the event.
In ICDS Project Shargole, there are six Porta Cabin that were sanctioned at Yokma Rgyalkhang, Damboo, Karamba, Foo, Serling and Doupchat. Due to the efforts of higher authorities, now they are able to handover it over to the public, especially Anganwadi beneficiaries.
The Councilor encouraged the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers for their work. The guest visited at various Anganwadi Centres and appreciated the workers for their hard work.
The CDPO stressed the responsibility of workers and stressed on reaching to the beneficiaries. She said they keep monitoring the growth of children and have recognized the weakness in the growth of children and are committed to providing double ration to them.
