Seven days training programme on Advance life Support/ Basis Life Support begins at Leh.
The State Health Society under National Health Mission, UT of Ladakh in collaboration with JPNATC AIIMS, New Delhi organised 7 days training programme for the Paramedical Staff on Advance Life Support/Basis Life Support (ALS/BLS) at conferences hall , SNM Hospital Leh.
The training is organised in order to implement 108 dial Ambulance Services in UT Ladakh.
The training programme has started today on 9th of November and it will run upto 15th of November 2022.
The Trainers for the 7 days long program are Dr. Tsering Morup, Anesthetist, SNM, Hospital Leh and Dr. Benazeer Khatoon, Anesthetist, CHC Sankoo, Kargil.
The Expert team from JPNATC AIIMS, New Delhi Dr. Tej Prakash Sinha, Dr. Musarrat Siddiqui and Dr. Jyothi Swaroop Bhaskarayuni joined the training programme through virtual mode.
The resource persons highlighted the importance of Basic Life Support and trained the participants about the prompt recognition of several life threatening emergencies, how to give high quality chest compressions, how to deliver appropriate ventilationand early use of AED.
The experts stressed the Paramedical staffs to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
During the training, practical demonstration were shown to participants by Dr. Benazeer Khatoon.
The training programme was attended by 40 participants from both the districts of UT Ladakh.
