NIOS collaborates with DIET to organise two-day orientation programme

Leh, June 01: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) in collaboration with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh organised a two-day orientation programme of master trainers and study centre coordinators of Leh and Kargil for the District Diploma in Elementary Education Programme. The orientation programme concluded at DIET on May 31.

 

Chairperson, NIOS, Professor Saroj Sharma and Director, School Education, Ladakh, Safdar Ali inaugurated the programme.

 

In this program, 12 eminent professors from different fields of knowledge from all over India shared their resources with the participants. They spoke on various topics, including understanding children in an inclusive context, community and elementary education, learning in art, health, physical and work education at the elementary level and learning social science at the upper primary level and other things.
