Leh, April 09: A parent-teacher meeting was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Diskit, Nubra. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Chairman/ EC Education, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk in the presence of Councillor, Hundar, Kunzang Lotus.
A total of 250 parents from different parts of Nubra attended the meeting.
During the meeting, new executive members for School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) were constituted following the farewell bidding of former SMDC members.
Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Diskit, Deldan Angmo briefed the new SMDC members regarding their role and responsibilities for the overall development of the school. She then presented a memorandum comprising various issues of the school. In this regard, Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk and Councillor Kunzang Lotus assured to resolve the pertaining issue at the earliest.
