Samridhi Diwas under Sankalp Saptah held at Karsha Block

Kargil, Oct 09, 2023: Samridhi Diwas under Sankalp Saptah was conducted at Karsha Block Headquarter by Rural Development and panchayat Raj Department in collaboration with LRLM, Handicraft, Handloom, ICDS, Social Welfare and CRISIL Foundation.

BDO Karsha Block addressed the event with his welcome speech while he has also enlightened the masses about the aspirational block program.

Self Help Group of LRLM Kargil displayed their products during the event like Traditional Food Court, Fruits and vegetables grown in their own farm, handmade products.

District Project Manager, LRLM threw light on the various livelihood opportunities available under LRLM in different verticals and encouraged all the SHG women to initiate their own economic activities for which Revolving Fund and Community Investment Support Fund will be provided by LRLM-Scheme. Near about 80 SHG members participated in the event.

The DPM also emphasized that if the SHG works collectively with sincerity and hard work, many more schemes and programs will get implemented in the near future.
