Leh, November 3: In the spirit of the upcoming festival of Diwali, the State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM), Leh, organised a vibrant get-together of alumni and present students, bringing together the institute’s extended family in an atmosphere of joy, creativity and festive enthusiasm.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their creativity through beautifully prepared rangolis, decorated candles, traditional diyas and other festive arrangements. The campus came alive with colours, lights and celebrations, reflecting the excitement and festive spirit of the occasion.
The celebration also highlighted the importance of religious harmony, mutual respect and inclusiveness, with students coming together to celebrate the festival in a spirit of unity and shared happiness.
The programme was attended by Assistant Director, Tourism, Leh, Faisal Iqbal Tantray, and *Principal, SIHM Leh, Sachin Bali*, along with staff members of SIHM Leh who appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and encouraged them to actively engage in cultural and extracurricular activities alongside their academic pursuits.
The gathering also provided an opportunity for alumni and current students to reconnect, share experiences and strengthen their association with the institution.
The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, with the festive spirit of Diwali illuminating the SIHM campus and reinforcing the values of togetherness, friendship and religious harmony.
