In Ladakh, Skarchan Warriors Latoo lifts Kargil War Memorial Cricket Trophy by defeating Poyen in the finals at Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium Kargil.
More than 40 teams from different parts of the District participated in the tournament organised by youths of Poyen.
On the occasion District Youth Service and Sports Officer Kargil Mohd Hussain Rahnuma was the Chief Guest and Mohd Shabir Khachey Ward Member MC Kargil Poyen was the guest of honour.
Congratulating the youths of Poyen for organizing the event Mohammad Hussain Rehnuma said that such activities help to bring out the youths towards healthy activities rather than engaging in unhealthy activities like Mobile, Gaming etc.
He further said that UT administration is focused on the development of Sports infrastructure in both the district of Ladakh, and in this connection new ground at various locations, Sports infrastructure at every schools, Blocks and District headquarters.
Later the Guest distributed Trophies and medals among winner’s and runners up team.
