Leh, April 30: Given the upcoming festival of Eid-ul- Fitr, the Department of Cooperative, Leh is offering special discounts on consumer items of daily use through its retail outlets in the vicinity of Leh town area and villages and in the Nubra subdivision starting from April 29.
The Cooperative Super Bazaar located behind the BSNL Office near New Bus Stand is also offering discounts on various furniture and furnishing items other than the offers on consumer items.
The Cooperative Department urges the public to avail the benefits of the festive season offer by visiting these cooperative outlets.
The Department of Cooperative, Leh through its various consumer cooperative society stores has been providing essential consumer goods at a nominal cost through its cooperative retail outlets spread all over the district in block headquarters and villages. As per directions of the UT Administration and LAHDC, Leh, the department has been offering special discounts during auspicious festive occasions like Losar, Eid and Christmas every year to the public.
