SVEEP training program for Special Summary Revision held in Kargil
Kargil, October 19, 2022:
District Election Officer/District Magistrate Kargil today organized a training program on Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) for Special Summary Revision (SSR) of Photo Electoral Rolls at Conference hall, Baroo.
The program was inaugurated by Deputy District Election Officer, Nargis Banoo, who was the chief guest on the occasion. She stressed on participants to actively participate in the training program.
While referring to Assistant Electoral Roll Officer (AEROs) and Booth Level Officer (BLO) Supervisors, the DDEO instructed them to take their responsibilities and stressed on teamwork in order to make the program error-free and successful.
The training program was aimed to train the AEROs and BLO Supervisors. The trainers from the Election IT cell gave a detailed presentation about the SSR.
As part of the program, the trainers shared their knowledge and experience regarding SSR with the participants and gave practical training to them.
Trainers also informed participants about the types of electoral rolls. AEROs and BLO Supervisors were fully trained in the online applications for the SSR program.
