Swab samples of govt employees collected at PHC Khaltse
Leh, May 25: Swab samples of all government employees/outsourcing/daily wagers in different offices of Leh district were collected for tests today.
The samples of the government employees were collected in the Khaltse sub-division. Tanveer Ahmad, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Khaltse, directed all the head of departments in Khaltse to prepare the list of staff of their concerned departments for Covid sampling. He impressed upon the concerned officials to make it mandatory for all employees to go for Covid sampling as directed by the Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority, Leh, Shrikant Suse.
The swab samples of the government employees/outsourcing/daily wagers for tests started at Community Health Centre (CHC), Khaltsi, from May 24.
The administration has issued the order to collect Covid samples due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in Leh district to take necessary measures to prevent its spread at workplaces.
