*Traffic Advisory for SSG* (Zojila) road & Zanskar (Penzila) road on *04-01-2023* *(wednesday)*

*Kargil Srinagar road*:-

Tomorrow on 4th January 2023 (Wednesday) only One way traffic shall be allowed on Zojila axis from *Sonamarg* towards *Kargil* subject to fair weather and road clearance by *BRO*. Cut-off timing is 1130 Hrs at Sonamarg. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed at 0930 Hrs from Sonamarg. After cut-off timing No vehicle shall be allowed to move towards Zojila.

*Kargil Zanskar Road*

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one way traffic from *Kargil towards Zanskar shall be allowed from 0900 Hrs upto 1100hrs from TCP Panikhar.

After cut-off timing no vehicles shall be allowed from TCP Panikhar.

*COMPULSORY NOTE*:-

Due to recent snowfall, frost condition and snow breeze in both the axis of Zojila and Penzila there are apprehensions of avalanches especially in afternoon. *Moreover due to frost condition of the road No Vehicle shall be allowed to pass without anti-skid Chains*.* Travellers are also advised to carry Shovel, soil filled bags, first aid, drinking water and packed food also. Minimum use of brakes is also advisable. Keeping in view snow wind breezes at Zojila/Penzila and in order to ensure safety of passengers commuters are advised to reach Sonamarg and Panikhar well in time with Anti-skid chains.
