Tourism Department, UT Ladakh participates in Bharat Parv 2023

Kargil, Feb 01, 2023: Department of Tourism & Culture, UT Ladakh, participated in the 6-day mega event of Bharat Parv 2023 along with team of Handicraft, Handloom Department, cultural troupes and ethnic food exhibitors lead by officers of the department.

The event was held at Lal Qila Delhi from January 26 to 31, 2023. Local handicraft and handloom products of Ladakh besides sale-cum-exhibition stalls of ethnic foods were also showcased at different stalls installed by the department.

Ladakh Tourism pavilion was the main focus during the event besides disseminating tourist information. Publicity material was also distributed to the visitors while colourful cultural program was also organized at the venue.

During the Bharat Parv 2023, large number of visitors witnessed several events and it was one of the most attractive festivals held by combining Republic Day celebrations.

Similarly, different States and Ministriesโ€™ tableaus of the Republic Day parade were also exhibited during the event. The event was organized by the Union Ministry of Tourism and inaugurated by Union Minister for Tourism, G Kishan Reddy on January 26.

The event concluded on January 31, 2023 and almost all States and Union Territories of Republic of India participated in the event.
