Two days Training Workshop on Medical / Surgical Emergencies and Critical Care concludes at Leh.
Leh, November 1, 2022: Two days Workshop on Medical / Surgical Emergencies and Critical Care organized by National Health Mission, Ladakh on 31st October and 1st November, 2022 concluded today at Leh.
The experts invited especially for the workshop were Dr. Tej Prakash Sinha, Assistant Professor, Emergency Medicine, JPNATC, AIIMS, Dr. Devansh Gupta, Senior Resident , Emergency Medicine, JPNATC, AIIMS, Dr. Jyoti Swaroop, SR, , Emergency Medicine, JPNATC, AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Dhiraj Bhandari Professor, Anesthesia and Intensive care, MGIMS Wardha Maharashtra and Dr. Musarrat Siddique, Jr. Consultant ,Public Health Administration, NHSRC, New Delhi.
The experts during the workshop on Prompt identification and management of critical emergencies covered topics under Basic Orientation on Emergency Care, Pre- hospital Management, Referral Mechanism, Basics of ABCDE, Defibrillation, Trauma Management and System Based Approaches.
The training program was organized exclusively for Surgeon / Physician/Anesthesia Specialists, Medical Officers from District Hospitals, CHCs, PHCs and Supervisors who deal with Emergency care from District Hospitals, CHCs and PHCs of both the districts of Union Territory of Ladakh.
A total number of 27 participants took part in the training workshop from District Kargil and Leh.
The experts also inspected the ALS/BLS ambulances being engaged under 108 emergency services under NHM and suggested latest equipment for making these ambulances compliant to latest guidelines for ALS ambulances.
