Ph400 students participated in Zonal level Inter Middle School Tournament in Nubra zone
Leh, June 03: The Zonal level Inter- Middle School tournament of Nubra zone concluded today. The tournament was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Leh. Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sangrup was the chief guest, and Sub-Divisional Level, Nubra Dorjay Gyaltsan was the guest of honor.
While speaking on the occasion, Councillor Tsering Sangrup highlighted the importance of co-curricular activities and advised students to participate in such tournaments. Further, he stressed that such sports are as important as academic studies.
A total of 20 Middle Schools, including 400 students participated in the tournament. The final Handball match was played between the teams of Lamdon Model School Diskit and Govt Middle School Turtuk Youl, in which Lamdon School won the match.
HODs from various departments of the block were also present at the occasion.
