ACR flags off trekking expedition for hoisting National Flag at Rusila Top

KARGIL, AUGUST 12, 2022:

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kargil/ Chief Executive Officer Kargil Development Authority Abdul Gaffar Zargar today flagged off the trekking expedition for hoisting the National Flag at Rusila Top (16360 fts) on Sapi-Rusila-Pangbar trekking route from Tourist Reception Centre Kargil.

The ACR was accompanied with Assistant Director Tourism Kargil, Aga Syed Tawha Deputy Secretary Cultural Academy Kargil Nazir Hussain and President AKTTA Kargil Mohd Ali Rangyul.

The Trekking Expedition is being organized by Tourism Department Kargil UT Ladakh as part of the celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

The team is consisting 10 members including Tourism Officers, officials and Trekkers. The team is led by Ghulam Rasool Lal Assistant Tourist Officer Kargil.

The team will also hoist National Flag at Sapila, Sapi Monastry, Sapi Lake, Rusila Top, Chakdola, Pangbar Brog and Yarkashing Hot Spring during the expedition, besides a cleanliness drive will be held on the trek route.
