Advisor Narula visits Heniskot, Bodh Kharboo, Khangral Reviews JJM, other developmental works
KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 18, 2022:
Advisor to Lieutenant Governor UT Ladakh, Umang Narula on Saturday visited Heniskot, Bodh Kharboo, Khangral villages and reviewed Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and other developmental works.
He was accompanied by Superintendent Engineer (SE) PHE and Irrigation, Asistant Commisioner Development (ACD) Kargil, Executive Engineers PHE and REW, BDO Shakar Chiktan, AEE PHE, JEs of PHE, JEs of REW, and PRI members.
During the visit, the Advisor asked the villagers of Heniskot about Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) and directed the concerned departments to install a filtration plant so that every household will have access to clean drinking water.
The villagers of Heniskot thanked PHE Department for completing JJM works.
Narula also reviewed the work on irrigation canal, yak farm and command area at Bodh Kharboo.
The Advisor also visited Common Facilitation Centre Bodh Kharboo, where he reviewed the facilities being provided to the public.
The advisor also visited cafeteria-cum-public convenience centre at Bodh Kharboo.
Narula also visited the water storage reservoir at Bodh Kharboo, where the concern engineers informed the advisor about the newly constructed water reservoir under the JJM scheme.
Enroute to Kargil, Narula also visited Panchayat Ghar Khangral, where the villagers demanded for CD Block, lecturers at Higher Secondary for better education, health centre and J&K Bank branch. Villagers of Khangral thanked the advisor for patiently hearing their demands.
